Bad Love

As an update to the Gary Glitter bad love story we reported on earlier, check out this picture of him being escorted at the Vietnamese prison where he is currently being held under charges of having sex with underage girls.

Gary? That is one midriff that should NOT be bared.

Glitter, now 61, didn't look so bad back in the day, though he clearly has never had any shame.

Police have now questioned three underage girls that claim they have had sex with Glitter, the latest being an 11 year-old.

When police in Vietnam started searching for Gary Glitter, 61, last week, after finding a 15 year-old girl living in his house there, we knew it was pretty much all for Mr. Rock and Roll. Well, he got picked up today at the Saigon airport when he tried to get on a plane to Bangkok. Seems even those Southeast Asian counties reputed to be heaven for child molesters still want to protect their own from nasty bloated elderly former British pop stars.

Glitter, whose real name is Paul Francis Gadd, is being charged with lewd acts with underage girls, specifically a 15 year-old and a 12 year-old. The punishment for child rape, which he could be charged with, is death by firing squad. Sure, there may be underage street hookers all over Vietnam, but don't get busted! The law doesn't fuck around, Paul!

Glitter had recently attracted suspicion from the Vietnamese law for an indiscretion in a club: E! Online reports, "He also reportedly was kicked out of a local nightclub for feeling up a teenage barmaid."

Do you wanna touch? Um, not really, no.

41-year old "cool mom" Silvia Johnson was sentenced to 30 years in prison today. A wallflower in high school, it wasn't until recently that Johnson found the key to popularity with boys - booze and sex. She ran her own personal after-school program for her daughter's friends weekly for almost a year, providing alcohol and drugs to 8 teenage boys, and having sex with 5 of them.

She also snuck methamphetamines into her daughter's breakfast before school to "pep her up."

Johnson pleaded guilty in July to two misdemeanor counts of sexual assault and nine felony counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Unfortunately, her original sentencing in September had to be postponed when her jeep flipped - while a 14-year old was driving it.

Silvia, the saddest thing about this story is that most of us figure out by our late teens that sleeping with boys doesn't make them like you.

Lynnette Clark, 37, of Gainesville, GA has been charged with child molestation after it emerged that she was carrying on a 2 year sexual relationship with a 15 year-old boy, a friend of her own teenage son's. Members of the boy's family say that Clark is pregnant with the boy's child, and that they have been married. The boy, who began this alleged relationship when he was 13, lives with his grandmother, who as his legal guardian received notice of the marriage from the county.

15 sounds a little young to get legally married, even in Georgia, doesn't it? Turns out that Georgia state law permits marriages at younger than the usual age of 16 when the bride is pregnant. Pragmatism at its best.

The grandmother says she permitted her grandson to spend a lot of weekends over at Clark's house because he was friends with her son. I wonder what that poor teenage Clark kid has to say about what was going on with his friend and mom after the boys had stopped playing on the Xbox and it was time for bed.

Let's not forget about our lesbian sisters out there, teaching math, coaching basketball, and having affairs with 14 year-olds. Jaymee Lane Wallace, 28, was a Tampa teacher at Wharton High School who has pleaded not guilty to lewd and lascivious behaviour, which in this case means having a sexual relationship with one of the girls on the basketball team for 18 months.

She denies the relationship ever happened. While the girl has no evidence of the affair, she passed a polygraph test, and witnesses support her story. She says that Wallace approached her by stapling a note to a graded paper saying the girl was attractive. I can just see that note: "Hey. You're pretty hot. Your taut little quadratic equations totally turn me on. Call me."

I guess this tactic worked out for Jaymee! She got her student/player to have sex with her for a year and a half, only ending when the student broke it off, a year after Wallace got married to another teacher (some similarities to the UK make-out teacher.) Until she got busted.

She's gotten off easy so far: she's no longer coaching basketball or teaching math, but is still working in the school office.
